What Our Learners Say
Honest accounts from people who have worked through Panya's programs — what they found useful, what challenged them, and where they've ended up.

Wanchai Phumtham
Bangkok · Foundations program
"I tried two other online courses before this one and gave up on both because the content moved too quickly. With the Foundations program I actually stayed with it — the explanations are clear and there's no pressure to rush. I finished in about nine weeks and felt like I understood what I'd done, which was new for me."

Nanthicha Kaewsri
Chiang Mai · Applied ML program
"The Applied ML program covered more ground than I expected. I appreciated that the explanations didn't skip over the fiddly parts of data preparation — that's where most tutorials cut corners. Feedback on my project was specific and pointed out things I hadn't noticed. I'd have liked a bit more on time-series data, but that's a minor thing."

Apichart Tangkitthaworn
Bangkok · Advanced Engineering
"The capstone project was the best part. It's one thing to follow exercises; it's another to design and build something yourself with a mentor reading over your work. The feedback I got was direct and genuinely useful. I came into the Advanced track with decent ML knowledge and left feeling I understood deployment properly for the first time."

Siriporn Pattanapong
Khon Kaen · Foundations program
"I was studying while working full time so the self-paced approach made a real difference. Some weeks I managed a lot, other weeks very little. The fact that there's no fixed schedule took a lot of pressure off. The exercises are genuinely helpful — not just 'run this code and move on', but actually working with data and thinking about what you're doing."

Teerayut Rattanakul
Phuket · Applied ML program
"Good content, well organised. I came from a finance background with no programming experience and found the transition into Applied ML a stretch at points — which is fair given it's an intermediate program. Response time from the support team when I had questions was quick. Overall a solid experience."

Jirapat Lueangaram
Bangkok · Advanced Engineering
"What I appreciated most was the tone. It's rare to find technical education that treats you like an adult capable of making progress without being pushed. The Advanced Engineering material is thorough — the section on model evaluation alone is worth the price. The capstone review took about a week but was detailed when it came."

Learner Journeys
A closer look at how a few learners moved through the Panya programs and what changed for them along the way.
Pornpun Nakavisut
Former logistics coordinator · Bangkok
Starting Point
No programming background. Had been working in logistics and was looking to move into a data-related role. Had tried a few free online tutorials but couldn't maintain momentum without structure.
How She Studied
Completed Foundations over 10 weeks while working full time, then moved straight into Applied ML. Took advantage of the self-paced format during a busy period at work by studying in shorter sessions rather than dropping out.
Outcome
Completed both programs over about five months. Has since taken on data-related tasks in her current role and is working toward a role change. "I can actually read and understand ML code now, which wasn't true six months ago."
Boonsong Wongpitak
Software developer · Chiang Mai
Starting Point
Experienced Python developer with web development background. Had read about ML but found most courses either too shallow or assumed research-level mathematics. Started at Applied ML after a brief discussion with the Panya team.
How He Studied
Worked through Applied ML over 8 weeks, then moved into the Advanced Engineering track. Found the section on model deployment most relevant to his existing work context and spent extra time there.
Outcome
Completed the Advanced track in about 14 weeks. Applied learning immediately to a side project. "The capstone project was the clearest signal of what I'd actually learned — building something from scratch without a template tells you a lot about where your understanding is solid and where it isn't."
